After update Autocad is turning windows wallpaper black while autocad is in use

Good Morning.

I'm having an issue with several users on site after the latest update of autocad. When Autocad is in use the user's windows wallpaper will turn black. It's only when the user will hover over the icons on the desk will a portion of the picture / wallpaper will return. Is it a graphic driver issue? Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

That does sound like a graphics driver issue. Assuming those users are currently running AutoCAD using DirectX 12 try switching to DirectX 11 to see if that makes a difference

At command prompt enter:
GFXDX12
0
Thats a zero, close & restart AutoCAD

Hi @jonathan_montumerm , please try updating your graphics drivers as well. Please check if reapplying the wallpaper will do the trick too.
