Hello, I need some help when was working on 2013 I found this command and it worked very well in get ride of proxy object, with the use of Bentley enabler.
Now I am working on 2015 my company just upgraded, but the thing is the IT guy down loaded 2016 and we had to remove it form my machine because Bentley does not have enabler for 2016 yet.
So they installed 2015, Bentley's enabler, but when I use the command aectoacad it seem and acts like it is working but when I open the file that was created it still has proxy,
try to explode the objects and it does but gives me Polygon mesh, but the proxy is still there. I can keep doing this for hour but the proxy never really is gone can anyone or has anyone have this happen
George
most of the items I am talking about are in green I removed a lot of stuff out but the main issues "proxy are in the drawing"
I agree with you on the proxy, I just found out Vanilla version of AutoCAD does not have the -EXPROTTOAUTOCAD, or AECTOACAD why autodesk does not have this in the vanilla version I just dont understand. but thank you for the evert
George
I understand that you feel this command works in vanilla version but this is my resource, so if you can please explain what you think I should do please I need this command to work, but no luckn my drawing
"George,
The command EXPORTTOAUTOCAD does not exist in the basic vanilla version of AutoCAD. It only exists in one of the verticals. AutoCAD Architecture, MEP, Civil 3D, ect
Can you provide a screen capture of your interface if you are unsure. It should say at the top of the application window. Are you using one of these verticals as plain AutoCAD by changing the profile? Perhaps using the vertical profile itself will yield different results.
Please provide this info if you can and we will research more."
