When trying to get the object enabler to load I get the following message.

"c:\program files\autodesk\advance steel objects 2016\asobjects.dbx cannot find a dll or other file that it needs.
AcRxDynamicLinker failed to load 'c:\program files\autodesk\advance steel objects 2016\asobjects.dbx'
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\acad.exeUnable to load ASObjects.dbx file."

Does anyone know of a fix?

Currently running AutoCAD 2016.

Thank you

Hih @JKlubnik,

Did you get your Advanced Steel OE installed? I ran it without issue on my computer. I suggest removing your previous attempt (if it shows  up in your Programs control panel) and then download a fresh copy.

Before trying to reinstall, make sure that you turn off  UAC and any antivirus software. I would also suggest that you install as an administrator on your computer.

Let me know if this helps.

Tuns out the 3rd party software that is used for fire protection design was causing the issue. For some reason the 2 cannot both be running at the same time. Once I disabled the FP software the object enabler would load without an issue.
