Adding Number of Command Lines displayed

Something happened overnight.

Today, there is only one Command line shown.

I really need more.

I move the cursor over the empty area at the top of the command display, & right clidk.

I was expecting to see "Lock Locations"  offered but there isn't.

I have tried grabbing the "Splitter Bar" and dragging it up, but all that happens is the blank area above the Command line get bigger, but is blank.

I need more lines. If I just use DIST and click on 2 points, it computes the distance, but, the result is not displayed.

Anyone out there to steer me in the right direction.

It seems like you have already figured out how to drag the Command Line window back up to add more lines.  Note that in newer versions of AutoCAD, the history shown when you drag up is gray, not white like the rest of the command line.  If you start typing and entering commands, do you see that gray area filled up with commands?

If that's not the issue, please share a screen shot so we can see for ourselves what is going on.

This Screen Shot shows the Cursor at the Lower Left clicking on the Wrench and the menu then displayed. 

You may need to pan down to see the Cursor.

This displays the empty dark area above the single Command Line.\

Any hints where to go ?

Have you tried undocking it by dragging it out to see if that fixes it?  If that fixes it, you could try redocking it to see if it's still okay.  Drag it around by the grips ::::::

Until you have a solution, you can press F2 on the keyboard to pull up the full command line as well (pop out window).

LOCKUI <0> unlocks all... stretch your command line back to where it was

0	Toolbars, panels, and windows not locked
1	Docked toolbars and panels locked
2	Docked or anchored windows locked
4	Floating toolbars and panels locked
8	Floating windows locked

Sorry that this 3 years later, but none of the suggestions offered worked. I have only one Command Line. How do I get more. I tried to drag it but it won't move.

Provide us with a screenshot of your entire AutoCAD program window that shows everything including your commandline please: make sure your ABOUT command pop-up is on screen in the middle too.

It needs to be 0 (that's a zero) to do what you want: you may have skipped that in the posts you "tried everything".

Change that to 0 or 1.
