Adding Block X,Y position in formula

Does anyone know why the object data for a block position automatically formats a formula to X,Y,Z?

If you pull position without a formula, it is fine and only show 1 number.

I attached an image where you can see the result of specifying X results in a full X,Y,Z readout.

I'd like to do some math with these numbers, but am unable due to the format.

Every element in AutoCAD has an x,y,z position: what is the actual variant of AutoCAD you are using?

Check out my attachment. I am trying to use the X coordinate and Y coordinate of a block in 1 formula. When I add them as fields in the formula, it automatically reformats the result to show X,Y,Z.

I know this is an old thread, but since no answer has been given, have you already tried the formula: rxof("field - object - block instance - position") there are similar commands for ryof and rzof.

You can see an example of how it works in attachment. (ignore the world to user coördinates 'w2u' part of the formula)

Hi @makdezines,

is it important afters 2 years?

We don't know what Deshi10 made wrong in 2019, but it should works without a problem,

as we can see in my sample or Michiel's one.
