Hi,

I want to add an image (jpg) to autocad and draw on it some additions then have the whole thing back again as an image.

How can I do that on autocad 2007

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums.

I'm curious more than anything: is HELP broken in R2007 on your PC? I ask because you could have just as easily looked it up, or even Google Search the answer in this the year 2017.

Hint to the answer you seek:
IMAGEATTACH command (if R2007 has it)
or IMAGE command
or drag-drop from Windows Explorer onto your open DWG file are a few of the options to try.

Hi,

the process of display the image in AutoCAD is discussed.

But for that:

>> then have the whole thing back again as an image

You can't directly modify the original image, as long as you don't have RasterDesign as add-on for AutoCAD.

So the option to get an image as result can be a result of plotting to a raster-file (or with reduced quality by doing a screenshot.
