AcBrandRes.dll - Problem loading AcBrandRes.dll resource file

Just had this message starting on my machine, after you press okay it then gives a Fatal Error.

Only changes to the machine since I last used AutoCAD was a Windows 10 Update last Friday. Also lost my printer, the drivers do not work with my version of Windows but were fine last week.

Get the same error with AutoCAD 16 and 18.

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps you can try to uninstall your last update through Windows - Uninstall an Update control panel. See if the driver can be rolled back and everything can work as normal state.

Unfortunately on that day Microsoft appears to have updated all of its products.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi,

have you tried (as suggested) to uninstall the latest Windows updates?

>> Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I didn't, but I don't know which udpates you have got installed, also because of the plotters I don't know which printers/plotters that are and what errors you get when you try to print to them.

The more info's you give (plus feedback to recommendations you already have got) the better we can help.
