Here is a question....

How is it possible that I am running AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical, successfully I might add,... with neither of the subject files anywhere within my search paths.

The only place I can find any version of either file, is buried withing the PDSuite 2017 Installation files, under Acad Mech.  I put the installation files out on one of our archive network drives, in case I needed them again.  I thought AutoCAD would not even run without these two files present?

They are user created files to run personal customizations: are you perhaps thinking of the system required ACAD20xx.lsp and ACAD20xxDOC.lsp program files instead (xx is your year version)?

@pendean

To be honest I never thought much about them at all.  I just always assumed they were there, and assumed they needed to be there.  It's good to hear you say that they are for customization... I was afraid my Acad was possessed.  Emoticono riéndose a carcajadas

So, basically I can just copy the one I want to use into my search path and go to town adding my custom app.  Thanks, Dean.

Read the HELP about it.

Don't forget to add the path between trusted locations as well.
