Hi everyone,

I have a question about Xref Type in Cad. In this case, I use AutoCad 2020.

First, I attach file "X-a" into file "X-A" with type Attach. Then, I attach file "X-A" into file "X-1" with type Overlay.

Finally I attach file "X-1" into file "Drawing". Now, the problem is I can see Xref "X-a" in file "Drawing", but I don't want this thing. Am I wrong or there is something I don't understand. Please explain for me.

Thank you so much and sorry about my English.

First question: If you have REALLY the name X-a and X-A in usage, there is a problem, use unique filenames.

2020.1 (Q.70.0.0) works as expected => Check your version, see productversion by command : ABOUT

Please appload a simple ETRANSMIT package.

My sample atached (with a file "X-aaa" instead of "X-a"), but that not the problem.
