About Hatch function

Hi guys,

I am using AutoCAD 2017, I have a question about Hatch Function.

When I use Hatch, the preview looks good...

However, After I click, the Result not good...

I can't explain why the preview works but the final result doesn't, but I can say that in my years of experience with AutoCAD hatching, drawing a closed polyline and hatching that always works better than picking a point. Yes, it takes time to draw the polyline, but it's usually less time than fighting the pick point method (as you're doing now).

[Another doesn't-really-explain-it workaround:  In this situation, I have found that Zooming in or out  and trying again can sometimes give the desired result.]

Another method to try:
Command BOUNDARY (to layer DEFPOINTS).

Perhaps tinker with HPGAPTOL as well...
