3d Objects behind other solids are hidden in model space

After I upgraded to 2023 I started having this issue where 3d objects behind other objects show as hidden when I select them.  I'm sure there is a setting, but I can't find it.  It had always highlighted the entire object, even if behind something.  Can anyone show me where I would adjust that setting?  Thanks for your help.

Long shot but... Have you installed the 2023.1 Update yet? ABOUT command will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD.

Perfect!!  That variable was what I was looking for.  Thank you very much!
