3D Object Snap point cloud settings?

Hello everybody

Sometimes I work with autocad and point cloud to take advantage of the 3D Object Snap point cloud.

In small objects, such as a piece made with a simple geometry (planes) it works perfectly. The snap to define an edge between two planes represents the glyphs correctly and extracts the OK geometry.

But in a different environment, for example a street with buildings, the snap behaves showing VERY large glyphs that try to infer a line that does not adapt well to reality.

The question is: can you define the settings of geometry search glyphs? I mean, can you define, for example, the search area or the size of the cloud area that is used to infer the plane or glyph?

Something like a setting on the glyphs of the 3d snap over point cloud.

Thanks.

Hi,

sorry, I would not know a setting which restricts the area to search for planes or edges within a point-cloud.

Not tried, but may be worth to try ... to clip the point cloud to your active working area and then again try to use the point cloud snap modes.
