3D Dwg into AR platform

I am trying to choose the correct product that would take a 3D Dwg and place it into an AR environment.

* I want to place a 3D model onto a printed paper plan using Augmented Reality. When i place the paper print on the table or wall, i want to be able to view my model at scale in a specific position on the plan. Then be able to either walk around the paper print or move the paper print and the model will stay in position*

Can this be done using ACAD?
Can this bee done using Fusion?

Thankyou for your time

Hi,

>> into an AR environment

Which devices do you have ... and which software for that device(s)?

You can create geometry with that software, but none of them have a direct interface to AR devices.

You need to create the geometry and then transfer that to your AR software/devices.

Thankyou for responding

I am using ACAD 2020 and would like to view the AR using both Android and Mac OSx devices.

My research shows that (I believe) Autodesk have an app ENTiTi AR/VR Exporter for Autodesk(r) Fusion 360(tm)

Can I transfer a 3D Dwg to Fusion 360 and then use the ENTiTi app to create my AR?

I would like to be sure before I go ahead and purchase Fusion 360 and find that importing from ACAD does not work.

Download a trial version! besides that I believe Fusion 360 is free for hobbyists.
