Whenever command _AUDIT finds errors it might create these layers.
But it should not be the default that saving a dwg-file destroys components of the drawing ... except of:
- you save to an old dwg-format
- you open and save the file from different software releases/service-packs
- you open and save the file from different verticals
- you open and save the file while using 3rd party applications not on all workstations (you work with that file)
- your antivirus (local or server) blocks some write access.
- some write errors from the operating system (local or network).
Verify these tips and let us know if you do have questions to that.
