Hello,

i have issue with drawing curve in AutoCad 2D, when I drawing curve there is no way to connect beginning to the end or to some between point. I have all the snapping on, but it didn´t want to connect in any way. I tried looking for solution on the internet, but i didn´t find anything. Is there something i missed ?

This problem makes my projects difficult to draw.

Thank you in advance

that's not a curve but just a straight pline.

perhaps you post the drawing instead of sharing a png?

Maybe i choose wrong translate for the line, but it is the second icon from the left side. And I share png with screenshot, where you can see that the line donť have connection indicator.

what are your current object snap settings?

have you tried entering endp so that you can object snap to the endpoint of the line segment?

Again share that drawing and not just a png file so we can all take a look.

In my setting i have all icons on.
Yes i tried, objects can snap to eachother when they are done drawing. But when i want to connect them while i draw it´s impossible, this problem came with new version of autocad 2021.
I took screencat, maybe that will help understand ? I upload dwg. if it helps in the top

Check this setting, the MARKER specifically. Run this dialog by the _OPTIONS command.

It's not a drawing.

See THIS if any help.

This sounds like a known issue. You need to get and install all the product updates.

You should not have all the object snaps checked. Clear them all. Then only check endp object snap and try again

last resort, close AutoCAD, goto AutoCAD 2021 folder and select: Reset Settings to default

If you're on subscription, why not install AutoCAD 2023?  Why do you need to AutoCAD 2021?

Mmmmmm... Spam for breakfast.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Late to the game, but since I don't see these points made, for others who may have the same problem....]

Does the CLOSE option in the PLINE command [I don't know the wording in your language] not work for you?  It does for me in your drawing.  That's the better way to do it than by picking back on the start point to "close" it, because when you do the latter, you end up with coincident vertices [two vertices in the same place], which can cause problems in some situations.

About the snapping, could it be that you have a lot of object-snap modes set to be applied, but you don't have the choice set to actually apply them?  You need to have this box checked:

Kent1Cooper_0-1687603570680.png

[And by the way, since you say you have "all the snapping on:"  I'm not sure exactly what you mean by that, but just so you know, never include NEAREST object snap among the chosen modes.  It will almost always "win" in competition with other modes, and give you unintended results.]
