2023 vs 2022 File Issues

We recently installed 2023 on 2 of our 7 machines. We noticed in 2023 batch plat, some files were not loading. When opened individually in 2023, the files prompt for recovery. A 2022 user didn't have any troubles adding the same files in 2022 batch plot. When the files were opened in 2022, they didn't prompt for recovery. What is causing 2023 to see these files as corrupt when 2022 does not? Both files should be in 2018 format. Both PC's running Windows 10 Pro.

It's almost impossible to say exactly but there is probably something causing an error in 2023 that wasn't recognized as an error before. Without some forensic analysis or a conversation with the developers, it's unlikely that you will find an answer for your files.

In other words, better error checking is picking up stuff that wasn't recognized as errors before.
