the new insert block manager is a load of crap. i prefer the old way. is there a way to get the old menu back. the new one slows autocad down and is cumbersome.  i want to just insert the block into the drawing not a sub-menu that i then have to select it yet again and slowly. thanks. if it aint broke, dont fix it Autodesk!

I modified my acad.pgp file to use classicinsert instead of insert. That's one of the commands I usually run by typing in the shortcut instead of using the ribbon. If you do use the ribbon you can probably customize it to run classicinsert.
