Open the file and AutoCAD will tell you which one you need, most likely the one for AutoCAD architecture. You can then search for it.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Hi,

Here you can find the object enablers from Autodesk for AutoCAD 2017 >>>click<<<

Sorry, not true.

Object enablers are used to view, delete, plot objects from verticals (or 3rd party applications).

But to edit such objects, you'll need the application itself.

As you wrote "walls" you might need AutoCAD Architecture, if you have a subscription for AutoCAD including toolsets then you can download and install and activate AutoCAD Architecture.

you can see, move, copy and erase "walls" in plain 2017 with the object enablers installed, but you cannot edit them. You will need to upgrade to the same autocad variant that created those walls. Try it and see for yourself, Autodesk did not leave back doors in software open like that.

Available OEs for 2017 are here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads?release=2017

If you can see the walls correctly, you don't need an OE.

Your wrote about missing grips, so i guess if you select a wann, properties palette [CTRL]+[1] says "AEC WALL" or similar and NOT "PROXY Object", right?

If objects are PROXY objects: Set Proxynotice to 1 (on), open the DWG and take a look to  the dialog about proxy objects.

See the scrollbar.. Informations about companies and products will appears.

Upload your DWG and we all can help, but not if you try to edit autodesk architecture walls with plain AutoCAD.
