2-D lines not appearing in 3-D drawing layout

Hi there,

How do I ensure that the 2-D lines in my 3-D drawing is plotted in the Layout. I have attached an example of a cylinder, and as you will see in the layout, the lines that are at the bottom and top surface are not plotted in the Layout. The lines are visible in the Model but they are not visible when in the layout.
Thank you.

Hi,

You cannot see those lines in the shaded mode. But its there. But will not be visible when plotting.

Shaded will not show any entities when plotting. If you want those line to show then try shades of grey or x-ray mode.

I have tried changing the visual style to Shades of Grey and X-ray, but when I plot the drawing, i still can't see the lines at the top and the bottom of the cylinder as you can see in layout 3 and layout 4.

Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

I went into my Visual Styles Manager and selected Shaded. I changed the color to Monochrome, Edge settings to Facet Edges, and Silhouette Edges to Yes. When I plot to PDF I think it shows up the way you are requesting.
