12x24 hatch patter at 1/3 offset with 1/8” joints

Please help! Does anyone know how to create a hatch patter for a 12”x 24” at a 1/3 offset with 1/8” grout joints. I’m stuck someone please help

That's doable, but:  Do you mean 12x24 nominal, that is, those are the dimensions between the center-lines of the joints, with the tiles [or whatever they are] themselves 1/8" smaller in actual size than the nominal size?  I hope so, because if 12x24 is the actual size of the tiles, then it's really a 12-1/8" x 24-1/8" pattern, and 1/3 offset is 8-1/24".

 

BUT what have you got so far, that you're "stuck" with?  It's probably easier to adjust that than to start from scratch.

Why don't your draw it up as you wish it to be with rectangles etc., then post it here for other to see what you want more clearly?

So essentially what I would what it to look like would be as shown In the attached images. I’ve been trying to recreate the pattern shown using notepad…however I can never get it right.

@hktalavera Q: who would ever zoom in that close in the PDFs or paper-prints of that brick wall to see those 1/8" grout lines?
