LT 2016 xref problems

I have files with x-ref pdf and images that I created in LT2015 (mac version). When I load such a file with LT2016, some pdf's appear "unreferenced," but some load. They all work if I open the file in 2015, but not in 2016.

I can't deduct a logic why certian files show up and other files do not.

Also, if I try to relink a file, that also works only for some files.

All files were saved with Relative paths, and the files are on the same computer in the same folder they have always been.

Hope someone can help!

One more thing: the preview of most of the pdf files shows up in reference manager-- whether "unreferenced" or "loaded."

Thanks for contacting me with your offer of help. I found that the problem only existed in one file-- all other drawings I've tried seem to work fine so far. I will post if there are any issues, but I made this post a little too soon!
