Hi @mjhabig,
Have you tried re-installing using the re-release of AutoCAD LT for Mac 2013? This download includes service pack 3 and addresses Yosemite compatibility issues. Please let us know how it goes! Thanks!

i will try that - do i need to uninstall autocad first? please send me instructions if necessary.
thank you!

spoke too soon. it is still crashing ![]()
Autocad keeps crashing - I can't get any work done. Can anyone offer a solution to this.
I have installed the Autcad 2013 with SP3 as instructed. I have turned off screensaver, as I thought I saw that mentioned in an error report.
I need a fix as soon as possible!
Thank you
I switched to the file structure that is NOT the columns and so far it is not crashing. ( I read that in another forum ) BUT - now when I copy and paste blocks they do not show as I am copying them - they very slowly redraw as I am pasting but eventually show up. I cannot see where I am pasting and it slows the process way down.
Are these things related?
When it crashed previously, I would open a drawing, start working and it would crash pretty quickly.
Thanks Maxim
update:
it just crashed as I was trying to change the command line. The command line spreads clear across the bottom of the drawing and I can't enlarge it to see all of the command information/history. I don't see a tool setting to change nor do I see a lock saying it is locked so I can unlock it.
picutre of error is attached.
thx
Hi Maxim
AutoCad crashes within 2 minutes of opening. It is unusable at this point. Do you have any other solutions at this time? I have reinstalled the program twice. Is there somewhere to find an error report to determine the cause? I really need to resolve the issue!
(I changed the block DRAGP1 to 5000 for the block issue)
Thanks
Mindy
Ok, so I just opened a new drawing and it did not shut down while doing nothing for about 20 minutes. I then started drawing and opening the preferences dialog box and it immediately shut down. I have attached a snapshot of my Mac specs.
I have created a new user and installed AutoCAD there. So far it is working but I have not imported any of my drawings to test yet.
What would this indicate to be the problem with my user account and if there would be anything I can change to make it work with my account?
Thanks
Mindy
