Why so many .tmp files?

Everyone on our team uses a PC for CAD work except our newest team member who has a Mac.  Every project she works on now has a bunch of .tmp files on our server.  Example: save13b0.tmp 

Is this a Mac thing or an ACAD settings thing?  Is there any way to get her machine to stop producing these files?  There are no issues saving the .dwg files.  Just saving a bunch of .tmp files that are unnecessary.

Hi,

This could be the result of network connection errors. AutoCAD creates temporary files on each save. If everything is OK with saving these files deleted automatically.

What kind of network protocol used in your office?
