I'm trying to find equivalent of Utilities panel on the ribbon on Autocad LT for Mac 2020. There is no ribbon with this version and I cannot find any type of Utilities panel. Any help appreciated.

The MAC interface is completely different: What command(s) are you going after? MeasureGeom or DIST or AREA etc.

I was going after DIST. Do I need to type everything into command line? Thanks for responding.

Hi Wes,

You can add inquiry commands to the Toolbar:

Then drag inquiry block to it:

You can also customise Tool Seta palette and add to it everything you need from Utilities:

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi @Anonymous ,

>>>>I'm trying to find Drawing Utilities in AutoCAD for Mac 2022 to change text fields in my titleblock.

Just double-click title block to start EATTEDIT command and change text in Attribute Editor window.

You can also edit attributes in Properties Palette - select title block and look at the Properties Palette - you will find field values there in Attributes section.

>>>>I can't seem to find where I can find Drawing Utilities tool.

If you mean "Drawing Utilities" under A button, then there is no such button in AC for Mac, but:

- DWG Compare is on Toolbar by default:

- Units - use menu Format -> Units

- Audit - type AUDIT at the command prompt

- Status - use menu Tools -> Inquiry -> Status

- Purge - is on Toolbar by default:

- Recover - type RECOVER at the command prompt

Hello,

I see you have a firm knowledge of MAC for AutoCAD and I do not use MAC, but my student does. How does one change the "author" in their template so it is now usable for their dwgs? I ask my windows students to click on the "A" go to "drawing utilities", select "drawing properties" and the "summary" tab, and then change the author to their initials or name. My students with MAC for AutoCAD can't locate the drawing properties on their interface. Please help!

Thank you,

KEF

Hi @KE_Frank ,

You cannot set or edit drawing properties in AutoCAD for Mac, this feature is not available on Mac.
