Howdy,

I use autoCAD to 3D draft models to then create shop drawings. I know on AutoCAD for windows there is a command called viewbase  I am looking for something equivalent to that for mac. From my understanding  the viewbase command automatically creates projected views and allows the user to select what is shown in the  viewport which is the biggest advantage of the command for my work flow.

As of right now I have been copying individual pieces, of what I need a viewport of, in my model space and then using MVIEW. This is incredibly taxing on my computer, takes a long time, and means that in order to fix something I have to fix two separate models, one for the full model and one for the separate viewport model.

If there is a command that is like viewbase for Mac or if there is a better way of creating layouts from a 3D model on Mac please share!!
