Very fine lines on the screen

Hi everyone. I was looking for an answer but can't find similar topic anywhere (if anyone knows - please send me a link). I have got an issue with auto cad on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch 2019). Lines on the screen looks very think that sometimes (especially when is bright day) I can't see them properly and have to be really close to the screen. I tried to change background to different colours but it doesn't help. I have compared it to my other friends computers and it seems like I am the only one with this issue. The only explanation I had is because of high resolution of the screen lines are super thin but one of my friend has similar computer and on his screen lines looks perfect.

What AutoCAD for Mac version do you have on your Mac?

What macOS installed on your Mac?

My CAD Version is: Autocad LT For Mac S.52.M.35 

And I am using macOS Monterey 12.6.6

I think is worth to mention it happened before on previous version of Autocad and macOS as well

It's strange that you haven't noticed this before. Retina display support was added to AutoCAD for Mac in 2014 version and the display of lines on the Retina display did not change until the 2023 version.

Starting in version 2023, the lines on the native Retina drawing canvas are thicker than in previous versions.

You need to upgrade to AutoCAD 2023, or better - to AutoCAD 2024 to get thicker lines on your Retina display:

To be completely honest with you I did noticed it before and was looking for anything in Google but couldn't find any answer so I gave up for a while. Now during very bright days it started annoying me and thought about registering at this forum. Thanks lord I have done it. 🙂
