unlocking a ctb file that is locked

when I try to open a ctb file from my flash drive or desktop on my Mac OS, my ctb file is locked.  The ctb file is not locked when I import it to my flashdrive from its original source.

I believe this has something to do with my Mac computer.  Can anyone help me with instructions to unlock and tell me why this is happing?

I am currently using Autocad 2017, and my operating system is a Mac OS Sierra.

Hi,

please understand that this here is an AutoCAD forum, it is not build to support operating system questions (like unlocking files).

Hopefully that search result can help you >>>click<<< ... if not I would ask in a Mac forum.

Hi,

In Finder -> select CTB file -> use "Get Info" from context menu -> uncheck "Locked" option.
