Unable to UNION solids

Please help.. I am trying to UNION the yellow 3D solids with the white 3D solid (file attached). For some reason, this UNION only works when the yellow pieces are not in the positions they are currently at, it also works when they are not touching the white 3D solid at all.

Your fit-and-finish seems to be lacking, too much air

You mean the solids are not touching? I used OSNAP to put everything together.

If you mean that there is a gap between the red line and the yellow solid, then no it is not a gap, it is just a geometry that appeared after I previously used SUBTRACT to make the hole in the white, cylindrical solid. I didn't quite get you.

Hi Ali,

Yes, AutoCAD reports about modelling error during UNION operation:
"The Boolean operation on solid and/or surface bodies failed.
Modeling Operation Error:
Error Code Number is 18026"

I checked your drawing in another application and got more clear information about the problem with UNION command. That program give this alert:
"Modeling operation error:
Two or more vertices of one body mapped to a single entity of other body"
So the problem occurs at the junction of one Solid to another.
I tried to scale up the yellow element with very small scale factor - 1.0001, and then was able to union them with main solid.

Right, that's great. Do you mind attaching the fixed AutoCAD file? Is there a way to rectify this issue in AutoCAD?

I attached ready - all Solids are united - drawing: Help  2-1.dwg

and drawing with scaled yellow Solids ready for UNION.

I've made them in AutoCAD for Mac.

Make sure you are selecting 3dsolids only, neither bodies nor blocks.
