trouble with mouse's pan functionality ACAD LT Mac

Hello,

I have just installed of ACAD LT 2017 for the Mac.

I am using an Apple wired mouse.

Since the installation, I can not pan objects by holding down any combination of mouse controls. Holding down the shift key, or the control key while trying mouse options does not do the trick.

ACAD LT 2015 Mac had this functionality.

HI @jsclage,

I don't have that mouse on my system. I am using a non-Apple wireless mouse with a scroll wheel. Holding down the scroll wheel allows me to pan. Can you try a similar mouse to make sure that works the same for you?

The Mouse preferences in my system look too basic to allow for any real control. However, In the General AutoCAD preferences there is an option to set Spacebar Customization for panning. Does this work for you?

Thank you for your suggestion.
My Autocad software is down right now. Once up and running, I will see if
your idea hits the mark.

HI @jsclage,

Just a follow up to see the status of your issue.  Did the preference option help?

Hello, John,
Thank you for checking in.
I am very happy to report that my Autocad software is once again up and
running.
The issues I was having seem to all have come from a corrupted Windows 7
operating system.
