Text printing larger than it is on screen

Hello,

I am having the same problem with a particular font I installed lately...

I will share with you a screenshot of what it looks like in model , layout and exported pdf

As you can see the text when exported in pdf gets a little bit bigger and bolder and I have absolutely no clue why this happens. It's kind of annoying since I have to print to pdf then adjust my texts in my model and hope my adjustments are OK since I can't see how it's gonna be without printing into pdf again

Help please !

Hi @hugodellinger ,

Please specify also macOS installed on your Mac.

Have you installed the latest Update to AutoCAD 2022?

@hugodellinger ,

You have to try to install the Update I mentioned above. It seems to me that some problems with TTF fonts were fixed since the initial release.

Hi @hugodellinger ,

I installed fonts you provided and opened your drawing:

All texts look like in your PDF.

Are you sure that you shared the correct drawing?

Hi thank you for your time,

Yes I am sure it is the correct drawing, it has been doing the same thing on multiple files/drawings with this particular font.. (never used it before but a client requested it)

In fact they look the same on your screenshot , you must be right about that update

Hi @cadffm ,

Yes, the screenshot is from AutoCAD and it shows the same text as in the resulting PDF, but it is different from the screenshot shown by OP.

I opened his drawing in AutoCAD for Mac 2024 (all updates installed).

Hi, yes the screenshot is from Autocad , the problem is that the text is showing differently in the pdf then in Autocad

"the same text as in the resulting PDF,"

I was missing this part in your post and the screenshot(Acad) was irrelevant.

Thx for the explanation.

Please upload your PDF too (for me).
