Hi.
I have set a few text styles in my drawing.
I received a drawing from a consultant where I assume the fonts have been changed from the text edit window instead of changing the font in the text style editor.
I want to update these fonts to the one I have used in my text styles.
I find it difficult to edit each text in the text edit window and then change the font-after changing all the texts to the text style that I need.
Is there an easier way to do it?
Regards
Hi,
you talk about MTEXT, not TEXT...!?
>>Is there an easier way to do it?
Search for STRIPMTEXT !
There are options to remove MText formats, if you like you can remove FONT-formattings only.

Hi @earthsquare
i read in older post from you:
"I use AutoCAD LT 2021 for Mac."
If that is the case, you post in the wrong forum for two reasons:
1. This is the AutoCAD board, not AutoCAD for MAC (different programs)
2. This is the AutoCAD board (not AutoCAD LT)
StripMText is not available for AutoCAD LT for MAC
and you have only two ways as solutions:
1. Use another Program than AutoCAD LT-Version, so you can use StripMText (or similar)
or
2. Learn more about DXF structure and edit your drawing files in ascii DXF files, directly in TextEditor.
It is always a good idea to indicate which software (name and version) it is about.

Hi.
Yes, I use AutoCAD LT for Mac.
Thanks. Let me find out more about STRIPMTEXT
regards
1. No one 3.party program is for LT-Version, in general.
2. and StripMext will also not work in AutoCAD for MAC.
