Hi,

At LAYOUT space, when i select 'TOP LEFT / TOP RIGHT' allignment for text, and try to edit it....The text behaves as if 'TOP CENTER' is selected.
The same for MIDDLE and BOTTOM allignment,it behaves as if its is Middle and Bottom CENTRE alligned.
It works fine when in Model Space.

Hi earthsquare,

This is unusual behavior for sure.  Is it possible to attach a sample drawing for inspection?

Hi John,

Apologies. Even though in the 'properties' tab it was shown 'text top left
alligned', in the MText editor the 'centre align was clicked'. That was the
reason for the odd behaviour.
But, the properties tab is supposed to override all other section, isn't it
?

Kindly advise.

Hi Sreejith,

Do you mean this button:

2016-04-27_07-28-31.png

when you write "in the MText editor the 'centre align was clicked'"?

If yes, than this setting is not the same as "Justify" option in the Properties Inspector.

In the Properties Inspector "Justify" means text frame justification relative to the Mtext insertion point, in Mtext Visor "Align center" means text alignment inside Mtext frame.
