doesn't answer this question)

I can not access .dwt files within Template folder.

The path selected to create new drawings preforms, but files saved within the folder can not be retrieved or deleted.

Screenshot1- the programs identified path in comparison to Finder, and how pathing stops at "Local".

Screenshot2- verification the ability to access files within the Template folder does exist.

Hi Barry,

That is because you are looking for them in wrong place.

The Screenshot1 shows folders inside Library folder which is in the root of your Mac drive, the path is:

/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD LT 2016 Standalone/R20.1

But you need to look for them inside Library folder which is inside your Home folder, and the path should be:

/Users/pazitney/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD LT 2016 Standalone/R20.1/local/@en@/Template

The folder "Library" doesn't exist under user "Pazitney".

There is a "Library" folder in MacintoshHD, which bears the path I previously screenshot, but still ceases at R20.1.

Library folder inside your Home folder is HIDDEN by default, you cannot see it in Finder without special steps.

If you want to get to the Library folder inside your Home folder, you need open Finder window, then select menu Go, press Shift key - you will see it in Go menu:

Alternatively you can go to Template folder directly by using "Go to Folder.." menu item from Go menu in Finder:

Open "Go to Folder.." window copy this path:

/Users/pazitney/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/AutoCAD LT 2016 Standalone/R20.1/local/@en@/Template

and paste it to the "Go to the folder" field:

Then select Go - you will be right in place.

Future similar solution seekers:   Try searching for your folder by path, manually, spelt correctly.

Success! Thank you.

(I wanted to write a follow-up of additional complications before I came to final conclusion in hopes to further prevent identical issues from adding to the forum)

The folder was Hidden as diagnosed.
To locate it, I copy-pasted your pathing into the "Go To Folder" (shift+command+G).
