Switching from a PC to a Mac

Hello! Merry Belated Christmas to all! I am in need of a new computer, I currently have a PC desktop but am going thru them at a rate of about one every 2 years. I'm seriously considering getting a macbook pro and switching interfaces. Has anyone done this? Issues? Concerns? I've only used PC's using AutoCAD in my 20 years of doing this, but, have multiple apple products like the phones and ipads. My hope is to get something more reliable that will last and from what i can tell the macbooks are built really well and hold their value. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

This is a list that shows what the Mac version does not have compare to the Windows version which could be a good start for you in your consideration process:

Compare Features: AutoCAD for Windows against AutoCAD for Mac (autodesk.com)

Another option if you're switching to the Mac OS is to run AutoCAD Windows version using something like Parallels Desktop. You can read a bit about that here:
