Switch XY direction

Hi, I am a student drawing maps with a standard that has a opposite X,Y axis than CAD has at default. Now I have to put in X values in Y and vice versa.

Default settings is (if I have got it right)

X= 0°

Y= 90°

I want X = 90°
and     Y = 0°

(The opposite direction)

Thankful for any help I can get.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Einar,

You can change base angle direction (and angle direction) inside Drawing Units window (menu Format -> Units):

You can also use UCS command to create custom coordinate system.

Hi! Thanks for the help. But it does not solve my problem. I know that the axis can be rotated but I can't find how to switch directions. X and Y are stil at same positions.

Change Z axis direction: by default it goes "outside" screen, so set it to go "inside" screen with UCS command.
Or change view direction and look at your drawing from the bottom.
