Spinning Wheel Issues between Autocad Lt 2024 & IMac Ventura

Hi there,

For the past month or so I have been experiencing the spinning wheel of doom when moving between files, saving and referencing, reloading Xrefs, etc.  I run Autocad Light 24 on my 27 inch IMac (macOS version Ventura 13.6.4).

I'm up to date with all updates.  Has anyone else experienced this, or know why it is happening?  Any quick fixes?

Thanks in advance!

Amanda

Hi @AmandaFlockhart ,

Where are your drawings? Are they on the local disk or on network drive?

Have you tried to Reset AutoCAD LT with menu AutoCAD LT -> Reset AutoCAD?

Hi @maxim_k

Yes,  the files are on a network drive, well we call it a server.  The server is a separate iMac that sits a few metres from my desk and we connect to it over Wi-Fi.  There are 2 of us here working off that iMac server.

I could copy the files to my desktop and see if that helps, but in the long term I'll need to fix the main issue.

I will try and reset Autocad like you suggested

Thank you

Amanda

Hi Amanda,

I think this could be network issue.

You need to verify the settings for the local network.

@maxim_k    Thank you.  That might be beyond my technical capabilities, ha ha!    I'll get some advice on that from my computer guy.
