I'm using Mac Auto CAD and having trouble getting special characters to display.

 

I'm trying to use counterbore and depth symbols but just get square symbols (unrecognised symbol)

 

What do I need to do to get these to display properly?

Hi,

Symbols are not supported in vertical text .. Try to read this link that may help. >> Click <<

Unfortunately there wasn't any help on that page.
I'm using horizontal text - all the text displays except the special characters

Hi @devlinkieran ,

 

To display correctly special symbols in MTEXT, you need to use Arial Unicode MS font.

To insert special symbol - use this button in Text Editor Visor:
