Hi,

I have a two monitor set up and wondered whether it was possible to have two drawing files open on separate screens?

Any help gratefully received.

Neil

Hi Neil,

You can open new AutoCAD Session from Dock (right-click) and drag the new session to another monitor:

Hi.

Thanks for this.

That was super helpful, but I have noticed that since using the New AutoCad Session option, every time I now open my software it thinks that it hasn't shutdown correctly and wants to open recovered files.

Is there a way that I can correct this?

Hi Neil,

@neillyditt ,

Try this:

Set System variable RECOVERYMODE=0. This will prevent  Drawing Recovery window automatically appear after a system failure, and should remove any recovery information in AutoCAD.

Now set RECOVERYMODE=2 (default) and test new session behavior.
