Scaling and Printing

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me. I have been working on a drawing that I am now plotting, scaling and printing (Well learning to anyway). So I have two view ports in my Layout, one for my "Title Block" and one for my actual drawing. I have zoomed and positioned my drawing to fit the view port, this has given me a custom scale factor of 0.0010. In my title block I have "Scale" section where you enter the scale factors e.g 1:25 (A1), how would I enter 0.0010? Would I just type 0.0010? Have a scaled correctly?

Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cameron,

1:25 scale is 0.04 in decimals, so you need to type 0.04 in the Viewport Custom scale field in the Properties palette (viewport should be selected in the Layout)

Hi Maxim,

Thank you for your reply. I'm not sure you have understood my question. I have manually zoomed and positioned my drawing in the view port which has given my a custom scale of 0.0010, how would I indicate this on my drawing? 

Have a scaled correctly?

If you need to substitute 1:25 scale in the title block for the current actual scale, than 0.0010 should be 1:1000
