Scale on Layout

Hi Guys,

This is driving me a bit silly!

I got these drawings from an architect and Im using them as the base of my Landscape Plan - I have A3 PDF of her plans and they say 1:250 @A3

I can't get them to scale to this - I can't even get it to fit on the page.

Ive checked the scale and the units in both the Model and Layout view.... am I completely missing something?

Thank you so much in advance - Cheers Nadia

Hi Nadia,

That is because of incorrect settings for the default units in your drawing. You need metric units, but default drawing is Imperial.
You need to set system variable MEASUREMENT=1, than create new Layout, set paper size to A3 portrait, than create viewport and set it scale to 1:250. Now everything should be correct with the area viewable inside the viewport.
