Hi, I have a problem preparing my drawing for printing, scale lineweight checkbox is always inactive. 

can anyone solve this problem? I attach a screenshot

Please add the hint "MAC" in the title or bettre: Post your question in AutoCAD MAC Forum and add "LT" in the title.

But in this case i think i can answer this question.

This option is for using LAYOUTs and Layout-Viewports, your picture displays that you are in Modelspace

where no Layout-Viewports available (no working Layout-Viewports ;D ), so the option is greyed out

Hi,

The lineweights in the current layout are scaled in proportion to the designated plot scale. When you are working in the Model tab, this option is not available.

thanks for your reply. it actually works that way, you helped me a lot, but on the next computer it is also available in the model

Hi Karolina,

"Scale lineweights" option available for Model layout in AutoCAD for Mac 2017 and earlier versions (and this is not actually correct option for Model space). In 2018 and later versions that option is not available for Model layout as it should be.
