Huh? You have to hit space or the command just fails if you hit return....Is there a setting for this? Geez...took me a while to figure out what the heck was going on....
Thanks,
Russell

Hi Russel,
I don't see this problem on my side.
What keyboard are you using?
Which Return key do you mean? Is it return key on main keyboard or on the numeric keyboard?
>>>>the command just fails
Please clarify - what do you mean by "command fails"?
Also, spacebar while writing text does not add a space....It is the Apple Magic Keyboard. The spacebar obviously works since I can hit enter for commands ( and write this message) also return works too.
This is a pretty nuts problem to have. I have to copy a space and past it in order to add a space while typing mtext...
edit - This is by the way the normal return key
edit - So Shift+space adds a space...What the.......Also return works normal inside mtext.
edit - Also Shift+return works as return......Uh...wierd stuff
Looks like something is wrong in the interaction between AutoCAD and your current keyboard.
What macOS do you have on your Mac?
Have you tried different keyboard?
Hi @betazero ,
I think I figured out the root of your problem.
It is related to custom shortcuts you created with CUI command.
