Repeated License issues on Mac

I work on Autocad LT on PC in the office but have a Mac laptop (I know weird) , I have Mac set up on my laptop and its worked fine for years but suddenly now it keeps preventing access saying that the license has expired. I have been into Autodesk and downloaded latest license details and it fixes it so software opens. But next time I come to use it, same thing happens again, and again, and again.

The Autobit was useless and when I tried to connect to an agent, it just repeatedly keep taking me to the sign in page and not to a human.

Any help would be appreciated, other than advice to switch to PC laptop 😏

Did you see this from Autodesk on the topic:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Licence-has-expire...

and this

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Subscription-Licen...

Here is how to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help, you can set up a call-back time as part of the process:
https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-find-my-sup...

NOTE: ultimately, only Autodesk Support can resolve licensing issues, not us end-users around here.

If you have subscription, did you try to connect with an agent from here?

You case seems related with the last category "Managing my subscription & account"

I've had many issues with my macbook too, and I think I just found out the problem! I don't know if it's the same for you, but I am having the "License checkout timed out. What do you want to do?" message everytime I open the software. I've had this problem on december 2023, and somehow it went away. Now, suddenly, it came back and there was nothing I could do about it. It has been a week now that I try to solve it with the Autodesk support team. I tried EVERYTHING, nothing would solve it. After trying the clean uninstall to reinstall everything again, the software wouldn't even install, nothing would happen. By chance I went to a different place with another wifi connection and tried to install it and it WORKED! Everything working normally. After coming back home the same issue came back. I tested again with different network connection and it became clear that that was the problem. As soon as I changed connection the license would work or not. So I just found the problem and now I'll try to fix it. Maybe you are having the same case, try with a different network first. I'll see what I can do now and come back here with the veredict.

Hi, I add kind of the same problem and I'm posting this message hoping it could help somebody in the futur.

Every time I opened Autocad on my Mac, I had a message saying Autodesk Identity Manager couldn't verify my license and forcing me to close the app.

Every time, I had to reinstall the identity manager, allowing Autocad to work for the day, but then, out of nowhere, it stopped working.

I checked my settings and noticed that the AdskLicensing Agent wasn't allowed to work in background, causing the nuisance.

Now that I allowed it to work in background, everything work just fine.
