recover project after crash

When AutoCAD crashes or a force quit is required, the usual start up box is displayed requiring a drawing to be opened before you can go to the help tab and 'recover files'. You then have to quit the drawing first opened.

Can AutoCAD be configured to just give the option to 'recover files'?

Thanks

Hi,

You can disable Startup window permanently by unchecking "Show at stattup" option in it. Than Recover window will appears just after you will start AutoCAD after crash.

Do you have this option checked in Recover files window?

With this option checked and with "Welcome" window disabled the Recover drawings always opens after crash without any action on my part.
If I have to Force Quit AutoCAD with some unsaved drawings - Recover drawings window doesn't appears and I think is "by design".

It's interesting to test this in PC version: will recover palette open after you kill acad.exe with Task Manager?
