"This DWG file was saved by an application that was not developed by Autodesk.."

Hi all!

Since today, whenever I try to either create a new file or open an old one I get this message: "This DWG file was saved by an application that was not developed or licensed by Autodesk. What do you want to do?". (AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE SCREENSHOT)

The problem is that if I try to "Continue opening DWG file" the program gets stuck with the coloured wheel and doesn't open.

So there is actually no way to open it.

I tried to restart the computer and also reinstall the software, but none of them worked.

I have the newest version of Autocad for MAC.

Any suggestion?

Looks like drawing template you are using for creating new drawings was created (or edited and saved) in some other then AutoCAD application. Do you use custom template or just those (these) which comes with AutoCAD installation?

I actually always use the templates which come with Autocad, like acadiso, acad, acad3D. I tried even to restart the settings, but nothing happened.

Please specify your AutoCAD and macOS versions.
Can you attach here one of the templates you are using for new drawings and one of drawings (you can draw a few lines in it) which shows the message "This DWG file was saved ...."?

My MAC version is Mojave 10.14 and my Autocad version is Autocad 2019, student licence.

Can you attach here one of the templates you are using for new drawings and one of drawings (you can draw a few lines in it) which shows the message "This DWG file was saved ...."?
