"Plus Symbol" as mleader arrowhead

I would like to create a custom mleader that has a plus symbol (+) as the arrowhead.  Easy enough.  I created a plus symbol block and use it as the user-defined arrowhead.  But I would like to the plus symbol maintain the orientation in which it was created (north/south).  Right now it rotates according to the angle of the leader line.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Hi @bretwieseler,

Check out this previous post to see if it helps you maintain the orientation of your block.

Hi Bret,

Do you want cross symbol always stays in original orientation (as it was created) regarless of the position of the leader?
Am I correct?

I'm afraid, it is impossible because of the MLEADER object nature and rules.
There was a similar question here:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-2010-2011-2012/multileader-with-custom-block/td-p/5007856

and the workaround suggested by @Alfred.NESWADBA was to create custom dynamic block for this purpose.
