Quicker layer change method?

Hi everyone, is there a way to change object layers other than From the drop-down list -> scrolling to choose a new layer? Quicker workflow... / AC MAC

In case this would help, I've found that changing the object's layer can be done by clicking on the selected object with the right mouse button and then selecting "Move to layer".
