programm chrashes when editing dimension style

Hi,

I´m having some problems with my Educational version of AutoCAD 2013, whenever I want
to change the dimension style in dimension style manager the program
shuts down. I´ve read on other forums that it might be a compatlility
problem with mac, my version is 10.10.5 OS X Yosemite. I´ve tried
to download service pack 1,2 & 3 and none of them want to download on
my computer and I don't know what else to try.

Do you know what I can do regarding this situation?
Thanks

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Does this happens in all of your drawings?
If yes, and you are sure you have OS X Yosemite, than try to reset AutoCAD from Application tab of the AutoCAD preferences.

Hi thanks for the reply. I tried to reset the applicaiton options in preferences nothing changed and the program still crashes. There's also an update due on my autoCad but I can't finish the download an error comes up that my computer has to be 10.6.4 or later as my computer is. I attached a picture, that problem came also when I tried to download the service packs.

Can you try this:
-remove AutoCAD with Remove AutoCAD application
- download full installer which includes all Service Packs from here:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/downloads/caas/downloads/content/autocad-2013...

And install AutoCAD again.

Hi @Anonymous,

I would try manually uninstalling AutoCAD 2013. It was a known issue with Yosemite and El Capitan.

I have provided the article to help guide you along if need be: Clean Uninstall of AutoCAD for Mac

There is also another forum thread that Maxim posted a solution mentioning this specific topic here
