Problems with the auxiliary solview command

Hello people, I turn to the forum to see if any of you can help me with a little problem that I have and after several days trying to solve it, I do not get to anything.
The theme is that after modeling a 3D object, and performing the 3 fundamental views with the command solview - UCS and solview - ortho, without any problem, when wanting to make an auxiliary view of an inclined plane with the command solview - Auxiliary, when the view is projected, is not perpendicular to the projection line, but remains orthogonal, like a frontal view, or superior. I do not know if I explain correctly, but if they wish I can post an image so that they understand me better.
Thank you very much for your help !!
CLARIFICATION: I'm using AutoCad 2015 for students at MacOS

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Can you attach your drawing here?
This could help to solve the problem shortly.

Sure! Here is attached. I clarify that I work with the system of views and projection of planes of Europe

Looks like I was able to create correct auxiliary projection after I added temporary construction line for defining the  inclined plane.

Please look at the attached drawing (I created a copy of your Layout in it)

Thanks for your help Maxim, but look, try to do the projection from a line that defines the plane, but the result is still the same, the projection line is well located, but the view can be seen orthogonally, here I attach a copy Of the file that you sent me, only what I did, was delete the viewport and generate the command solview again. (I clarify that when I try on another PC, I had no problem to perform the view), so I guess it will be some software error, but I do not realize that.

I also attached an image in which you can see how when I generate the view, the projection line (trace line) and UCS are well located, but still the modeling comes out at 90 degreesCaptura de pantalla 2017-05-25 a la(s) 17.02.53.png

Sorry, but I don't understand your question.
Can you create screencast of what happening on your side?

I think something wrong is with AutoCAD on your Mac.

For example, you have Realistic visual style in the viewport in which you define auxilary view:

2017-05-26_09-59-48.png

But the SOLID object in the viewport shows as wireframe.

It should shows like this:

2017-05-26_10-04-07.png

So I advice you to Reset AutoCAD and then try again with SOLVIEW.

Hello again, thanks for replying, but already try to reset AutoCad and reinstall it from 0, but nothing has worked, the same thing still happens, I will leave the subject open in case someone discovers some solution because this is driving me crazy

By the way, the viewports look like 2d wireframe since it also has the soldraw command applied

OK, I see: the layer with the Solid object is VPFrozen, so it is invisible.

Anyway, I still cannot reproduce the issue you have on your side.

Looking closer at your screencast I noticed one strange thing:

After you pick the "side to view from" in SOLVIEW command, the crosshairs doesn't change its orientation to reflect the inclined plane - crosshairs remains "orthogonal", aligned with horizontal an vertical directions. But in fact, as soon as you pick "side to view from" crosshairs should rotate to reflect inclined plane:

I don't know why this happens on your side.

And additional question: can you reproduce the issue in every drawing or only in one, we are talking about?

Hi Maxim, so the pointer does not change its position until I select the center of the view, then it is set correctly but still the view remains orthogonal. It happens in all the drawings, try to create a new model in a new document, in other documents that already had but does not work either

Just to check: which macOS do you have on your Mac and have you installed all Updates for AutoCAD?

Another strange thing is that Resetting AutoCAD doesn't help, because Reset should really reset all AutoCAD settings and variables to default values and nothing should affect the standard behavior of SOLVIEW command.

I am using MacOS Sierra fully updated and AutoCad 2015 student version, also fully updated (update 4). Restore AutoCad 3 or 4 times in these 2 days and reinstall it 1 time, and without touching any type of configuration continues giving this problem.

Could be a problem with 2015 version. I don't have it installed an tested on 2016 and 2017 version.
BTW, if you have student license, than you can upgrade to the latest AutoCAD version - please look in your account page:

Hi Luciano,

Yes, this is definitely an AutoCAD 2015 for Mac problem: I have 2015 version installed on my work machine and today was able to test SOLVIEW in your drawing.
And I was able to reproduce your problem.
So if you have an opportunity - upgrade to the latest AutoCAD for Mac version - 2017, I'm sure there will be no updates to 2015 version in future.

Well, already updated my version of AutoCad to 2017 and indeed, there was the error, in the 2015 version, as simple as that, but hey, I can work properly, haha
I appreciate your help, and I hope that you have been able to help anyone with a problem similar to mine
