Printing to Scale on MAC

Printing to Scale on MAC

Not applicable

I used AutoCad on my Mac and here lately many of my projects will not print to scale. In the paper space, I put the appropriate page settings and scale that I want. If the drawing is too small I then enlarge the view port using the grips then I put zoom to extents. I then position the drawing to how I want to print on the paper. I have been doing this like this for 6 months + but now it does not work. When I print my projects hard copy, it is not scaled to the scale that I put on the program or sometimes, it will scale to a different one. I have un-installed and installed the program itself to see if there was glitch and it does not fix the problem. I have created a whole new drawing and drawn one line and have scaled it on the paper space to print and test if maybe I drew the drawing on weird settings, but it still does not print to scale. I also do not print right from the program, I export to PDF then I print from the adobe acrobat reader. PLEASE ANYONE HELP!! Thank you.

Can you share a DWG file with this problem? We'd love to see what's in the file and the settings you opted for. Oh, and that resulting PDF that is also out of whack>

OR... in your preferred PDF Viewer are you just not catching the print 1:1 scale setting and that's all it is?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I think you have to check scale settings when you PRINT to paper, it should be 100%
